Scams are about conning you out of your cash, and consumers in Ireland are being hit by thousands of scams each day.
Scams can target you by phone, email, post or at your front door. But all scams have the same aim: to con you into parting with your money or giving away sensitive financial information.
They can range from conning you out of a few euro to trying to steal your entire bank account.
