Jargon Buster
Recommended price
The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) you sometimes see printed on products or in advertisements for them.
This isn't the actual, legally binding price for the goods or services. It is just a recommendation from the manufacturer or supplier on what the retail price might be - the retailer is still free to set his or her own price.
Many retailers use the Recommended Retail Price as the base price for discounts during the sales. The item was always sold at a lower price to the RRP, but by using the RRP for comparison it makes the discount or reduction look more attractive.
Redemption fees
Fees that lending agencies charge if you decide to pay off a loan early - before the "full term" that you signed up for.

A credit facility where you can receive cash, goods or services up to a certain amount or credit limit.
Examples include store cards, credit cards, and credit arrangements with some book clubs.
