Shoppers' Rights Cards
Over 1.2 million Shoppers' Rights Cards have been distributed to Irish households by the National Consumer Agency since January 2006.
The card sets out the core consumer rights that consumers should be aware of when making a purchase.
If you know your rights you won't go wrong. As a consumer you have rights that are protected by law. The NCA wants to make sure that everyone is aware of their rights.
The card represents a major public information initiative from the NCA, and sets out those core consumer rights that you should be aware of when making a purchase.
The card is designed to fit easily into a wallet and to be easily portable.
